Thoughtful Thursday

We are all again on heavy-duty nursing duties as Äiti's dizziness has persuaded the doctor to write a longer term sicknote. Did the doctor consult with us ? Nope.  Now we have a giddy human home all the time, tripping over us as we guide her to the food cupboard. At least she's home to make sure the heaty pads are kept on -Veikko is very good with the stinkeye when she fails to carry out this simple duty.
We are devising a rehabilitation program for Äiti, but all suggestions are welcome.  So far we have plenty of exercises for her thumbs.

Head scritches are a great way to help Aiti rehab.
Seriously, we are sending purrs to Aiti.
XOXO

"Persuade"? Mom thinks that your interpretation of Äiti's doctor appointment is unfair.

Hmmm. Not sure what you can do against dizzyness, maybe lay on her all the time to keep her in place? Encourage her to grow a tail because it's easier to balance with a tail?

I hope Äiti feels better soon - she must be frustrated. You guys need to keep her mind occupied to get her attention away from being ill. So go a little crazy - that'll get her attention!

Oh dear, so sorry to hear she's got the dizzies again. Stay out from under her feets, kitties...no one wants to get stepped on. Veikko, stop with the stinkeye, and go give some loves to your human!

We don't think it looks like the stink eye. We think it looks like a very intense, concerned boy who feels it is his job to find a way to help his mum.
Our mum has the same issues as your mum. She finds January and February the worst months for her because of all the extra foods and snacks containing salt that she noms over the holiday season. The only thing she can offer is aggressive and obsessive monitoring and reduction of salt intake. Her doc said drink lots of water as well. We had very high salt level in the tap water where we used to live. Must watch that too.

That is honestly the best (and most loveable) stink eye Veikko!! What a talent! And we do hope your mom feels better! I find the winter difficult too - I have one of those sun lamps and that seems to help!
