Thankful Thursday

The other day Äiti came home from work with a gift, for us! From one of her workmates. Oh yes, she has the  bestest colleagues! We noticed the present immediately, and it had to be hidden away as apparently it is time sensitive and should not have been pillaged before December 1st.
Yes, a treat calendar for us kitties, for December!  However it has caused my good self a little consternation: observe the 'Good Girl' label. I was just about to write a complaint to the manufacturers when Äiti also pointed out the far more significant logo on the right....
Oh yes, the British Royal Crest! So I can perhaps forgive the foolish mistake that was clearly made seeing as these treats are clearly destined for royalty, like my noble self. And Mesi may give the stinkeye, but she's not hogging them all!

So let's see...tuna, salmon, mackerel, haddock, whiting, perch,...25 days of fish perhaps? You gotta get those doors open, PPP!

We're glad that Äiti is more careful with your presents than Mom. We also got a Christmas calender, and she seriously thought about giving it to someone else! Bah. She even thought of you, but she was afraid that there won't be enough treats for all of you behind each door.

If this is the case with your calender, we think it's obvious that the calender is meant for Aila, Jaava, Roosa and Mesi.

We're wondering though: do Brittish calenders have 25 doors???

Oh awesome gift! We wish we had one. What fun! Your aiti can let each one of you open a door and have the excitement of finding a treat. 0f course, Aiti would then give treats to everyone.

Hmmmm, Advent treats? I will have to tell mum about this and make sure I get my daily treats.

You are so lucky. The ones in the USA only have chocolate, none have kitty treats.
