Armistice Friday

Today we remember with gratitude all those who fought against hate,
and hope their sacrifice is honoured and not in vain.

They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, or the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

 from For the Fallen, Robert Laurence Binyon.

Hopefully the world will never see the same again.

I fear we are going to be seeing more troubles in the not-distant future. :-(

Thank you for remembering the ones who fought for peace. I'm very grateful that I got to grow up in post-war Germany.
