Sunday Splat

Loyal Readers, I am allowing Äiti to share a little event that took place at work, and explain the story behind this photo.
As some of you may know Äiti attempts to teach chemistry and physics (with a side order of sarcasm). Last week she decided to task a class to find out 'what colour is grass?' which is pretty darn stoopy if you ask me. So she extracted the dye from grass, expecting her students to do stuff to find out what colour it was, and unfortunately the flask of dye got dropped on the floor. The poor student who did this was distraught as it cannot be easily cleaned, whereas Äiti fully believes that chemistry rooms should reflect the fact that sometimes things aren't all neat and tidy (she used to get told of for smoke stains on the ceiling back in Britain).
Now all the students ask what happened and Äiti tried telling them she had killed an alien with green blood but they didn't believe her, when someone pointed out the stain was the same colour as an old class mascot, Lizzie the Lizard. So she put Lizzie on the floor with 'splat' on her (pläts in Finnish) and she thinks this is very funny.
Not sure the cleaner will though......

Much funnier than if it had happened at home!

I'm just glad I don't have to clean that up!

EXACTLY like stubborn grassy yak stains! Impossible to remove. hmmmmm, does this mean our stomachs are Junior Chemistry Sets?

I think with horror of my own school time and our chemistry and physics teacher. I envy all students who have Äiti as their teacher - my teacher never got us interested in anything (and unfortunately, it didn't happen while she was teaching us that the chemistry room started burning, but we got a half day of because the whole school was evacuated. Haha).

I think this is funny too, but I don't have to clean it up
