Tortie Tuesday

Two years ago, a tiny creature was born. She is still pretty tiny, in size anyway. Yes, it is Mesi's birthday. This is Äiti's first photo of her.

And a few weeks later Mesi was looking all smug and happy, knowing she had chrmed her way into Äiti's heart (even though Äiti didn't know it yet). With her is brother Pepe who lives in Ilomantsi now: Äiti visited him last year when he was already a daddy.

And here is the side of Mesi which I see - sneaky and with claws.

Now I know it is hard to believe, but Little Princess Buttercup is a mighty tortie girlcat and she teases me. She stares and play pounces. And then when I get all hissy the other felociraptors join in and I get the blame. Pöh.

But I have to wish Mesi and her litter mates a happy birthday! Here's to many more, and sending thanks to her wonderful breeder.
