Sunny day with Seismic Update

Yesterday was beautifully sunny even though still cold. Äiti sat outside with us for a while and some of us furry felines joined her. The sun was gloriously bright.
We are vigilant for any birdies and mousies, but there was no luck for us.
We still have snow as you can see, so we are eager for spring. Jaava is still worried her little toesies will freeze to the ground.
Brrr!
And some Loyal Readers may have heard that Finland(N) experienced an earthquake last night. Oh yes, this is a very rare event on account of the fact we are slap bang in the middle of a continental plate. Well, on the Grand Scale of Earth Movements it was small (4.3 ish) but for us it was awesome. Well, it would have been if we had been awake. Now it is possible Mirsku was having a dream about his beloved May Ling, but we are keeping quiet about that as so far the experts think the epicentre was in Ruotsi.....

We are threatened with 1/4" of snow tonight. Not lier that is much to YOU (or even us) but it is SPRING today. It should NOT snow in Spring here! We feel calendarly offended. We mean, there are ROOLS right?

It is the first day of spring so hopefully the sunshine will melt all that snow away.

Yesh PPP.

Our house trembled last night very hard, I was little scared... Why? Stupid humans are building nuclear power station just nearby us... So, Mirsku should control his hot feelings. OK, we understand him, but now we're talking about many felines lifes. So, could you do something about this thing our KING?

You are all nicely lined up to enjoy the sun.
When my mum and dad went to Iceland a few years ago, they went on a tour which included Dimmuborgir where there is a small crack in the earth caused by the shift of the American and the Eurasian tectonic plates. Mum took a photo of dad with one foot on either side of the crack so he was standing above the two plates.

There are major and minor faults all over and our Mum has usually picked one for us to live on. We're safe now but Mum still doesn't hang pictures over the bed. They say animals behave strangely before quakes. Did you?
