Friday Fun Fest

Deep in Finland(S) two of my most Loyal Readers have been gathering gifts for us. Yes indeed, Kajsa and Tessa from When The Cat is Away have trained their human to send a parcel for us. Okay, it got lost in the bowels of the Finnish Posti, but finally Äiti picked it up. Yes, we know it looks like a box of cat litter but deep inside there's a medical parcel for us. Medical ? Why of course - we're in great need after nursing Äiti over these long weeks. Mesi of course checks it out first - curious little minx that she is.
Inside there was a plethora of wonderful stuff. Tins the girlcats from the southern latitudes had rejected; woven braids they would love to have kept; treats Jura is hiding and a toy.
Jura likes the blue braid.
So does Veikko.
But Ruska is attracted to another package. Now this comes from Germany, where Kajsa and Tessa go on their travels.  Aber was ist das 'Baldrian Wurzel'? No googling, Loyal Readers - what do you think it is ? Hehehehe.
We thank you girls most kindly, and also your human for harrassing Posti so that the parcel finally showed up safely in Finland(N). It is most welcome and bought a lot of joy! Vielen Dank!

Although German is my mother tongue, I'm always a bit "shocked" when non-native speakers use German words. What a terrible language! "Wurzel" looks like a joke (and sounds even worse). To see "Baldrian Wurzel" in an English sentence makes me shudder. I'm glad that Ruska can't read, and is focusing on the important part. ;) !

OH, and Kajsa and Tessa love the canned food I sent you! I'm just the terrible human who decided that they get fish only once a week. We had so much fish in our stockings that I was going crazy. Declutter is one of my favorite words ;)

P.S. By the way, Posti's customer "service" sent me a lot of stamps - even though I didn't complain. (Yes, I'm trying to avoid my German "Wurzeln" (roots) as good as I can :P )

We have NO clue - but it sounds like it was a slaughtering of the language! As always we giggled with Aunt Trish's comment - VALERIAN intriguing! *snort*

What a great package, especially the Baldrianwurzel. Did you really think we wouldn't google it?
