Mooching Monday with Mr Meniere

We think it is about time for an update of news from the Castle and Catio. We are having another warm November, full of rain. Ruska is outside on mousewatch here, and you can see how all the leaves have died back. Äiti planted some thuja bushes at the back of the garden to provide some shelter and wants to see how they survive the winter: her plan is to have growth along the side of the house all year round so we get some privacy.
I have spent much of the weekend with Äiti, with this pose being typical. She is having a few problems with her inner ear which has been inhabited by this Meniere thing. Now we'd like to scratch him out of there as he is not welcome, but she won't let us. She says she is not as badly affected as some people since she can at least stand up and the ground doesn't spin round like a washing machine, However she does often feel a little dizzy, and nauseous and apparently it is not our litter deposits causing this.
She thinks yoga will help - Jura wants to help her with that.
And Veikko will ensure she can never walk in a straight line anyway, hehehehe.
Anyway, we are looking after her and she has some helpful human friends too. One offered to go shopping for her, so she was sent out to stock up on cans for us. She came back with 120. Now we like that sort of human friend!

I've had inner ear problems in the past. It is no fun at all. We hope you'll be feeling better soon. In the meantime, we are glad to hear your cats will take good care of you :)

Well, we think that this dude needs to get the heck out of Äiti's ears! So rude, unwanted guests...

Our November turned cold and blustery today and we may be asking Daddy to put our shirts RIGHT BACK ON! Thanks for the plug in your comment...we will send Mommy over eventually to make more jerky for all y'all and she will try not to slice open any digits. AGAIN.

120 cans sounds great, but we don't know if we're envious. Our Mom is always in a bad mood when she's about to order food for us. We don't know why, actually because we're quite flexible with food. We always decide sponataneously what we like and dislike. It's not our fault that she wants to purchase those big economy packs. Then again, if she had 15 cats, she'd always buy the bog ones.

We're feeling so sorry for Äiti! Glad to hear that both felines as humans help her out! Has she stayed home from work?

There's a guy living in Äiti inner ears? He needs to move out! I hope she is feeling better soon, and you kitties certainly have a nice, generous pal looking out for you!

Hey PPP.
Hope that Äiti get better soon. My grandfa has also Mr. Menier, but servant said that he got much better twenty years ago and feel quite well now. Nordic walking, swimming and training like that have helped him.
So, take good care of Äiti. You have very important job to do. And if you see Mr. Menier, throe him outside to the November rain.

That doesn't sound very nice for Aiti to have Mr Meniere living in her ear. It is good of the humans and you all to help her. We are getting the same weather here, mild and bucketing down. Gale force winds are due to be added to the mix tomorrow.

Does he tell her secrets? Or send her out to do his bidding, like a minion? We are not too sure about all this.
