So, up until the time of dictating this post to Äiti, no one had guessed the identity of the 'thing' on Äiti's fingertip in yesterday's post. We were amused by the idea from Carolyn of 'kitten seed' and then thought what that would really mean. No, we do not want a crop of kittens! I still am traumatised by the arrival of the burmese butterball ninja pair Jaava and Jura: they were like a tornado. *Shudder*
No, the answer is far more mundane that that, and nothing to do with wormies.
Look closely at Veikko's tailio. It has BLACKHEADS! He also had some on his chin. Äiti has been, erm, removing them as gently as she can. And that squiggly icky thing was a prize example.
Veikkos has been extremely tolerant of this - mainly through bribery as Äiti has attacked his tailio while he has had his head stuck in food. Here he is licking clean the remains of the salmon she cooked. Seppo is suspicious but he has no visible blackheads so he is safe.
Now Veikko is a clean boy and he does get frequent baths but he is at that teenage greasy stage. He just wanted this photo included to prove he takes his grooming seriously.

hee hee...Mommy was so jealous...she wanted to be in on the...erm..."action"!
perv.
Ewwwwwww. We'd almost have preferred it to *be* a worm. Ewww, eww, ew. And Ewwwwwww.
Ew! Not sure what's worse - the blackheads or worms!
It happens to the best of us, Veikko. Angel Princess used to get huge ones on her chin. She wan't very nice when it came time to remove them, either....
Oh it is SO hard being a teenager. And then this kind of revelations in public. My heart goes out to Veikko!
Poor Veikko! The humiliation of the world knowing he is a spotty teenager.
Wow! I had no idea cats could get pimples!
One of my previous cats had a bout with chin acne. The vet told us to use hydrogen peroxide on her chin to clear it up. Don't know about that on a hairless cat, though.
Oh! That it was! We call them also as direct translation in Finnish, the skin worms! The stuff which comes out I mean. ;P My 5 y. old black nakked boy makes sometimes black ones too..
Poor Veikko! Your Mum outed your spots to the whole world! There's been a bout of chin spots in our family too. Our vet gave us special pad wipes that are safe for cats.
