Saturday memories

And of course there was soon another addition to the gang: Monty. He was a senior kitty, a totally grumpy old git who wanted Äiti all to himself. He had been on the streets for years  but loved the luxury of a home. He had two thyroid operations, and a deformed spine. Aila learnt a little respect from him.
Monty was the one who slept closest to Äiti.
And he loved the attention.
He was a handsome mancat and I was honoured to meet him, even just for a few days.

Well, it does look as though she had developed some manners after all. We are happy that Monty got to have some love and comfort and reliable meals in his senior years. He looks like a nice boycat, even if he had grown a bit grumpy along the way. Aiti is a Good Soul, King P. You will have to forgive her for abandoning you for her frivolous trip abroad. Perhaps there might even be GIFTS? Do you think?

Nothing like a Grumpy Grizzled Tom to teach a leetle whippersnapper her manners! Monty was such a handsome mancat--we're happy he spent his Golden Years in comfort, and in Alpha-Äiti position.

I'm so glad Monty had a good home for the last part of his life.

Monty was definitely a handsome mancat. How lucky for him that he was able to spend his senior years with Aiti.

A cat of character. And do handsome. That's what your Monty was. Did they all so madly love Aila? She's just basked in love and attention since Aiti brought her home.
