Stumpy SpyCam Sunday

The Manxie Annexe is still a haven of peace and calm, and we are no longer pawing at the door to get in - even though they get tasty pouch food all the time and we don't.  Ruska has snuck in a couple of times, and that is okay as he is one of the original Muhos Gang and he is liked by the Halftail.
These photos were taken with a GoPro - Äiti's spycam.  The lighting is low so we apologise for the quality. She leaves it set up all day sometimes.
Roosa shows her better side, hehehehehe.
And Risto proves he's the culprti for outside the box deposits - yes they are still happening.
And then the Stumpies are snuggling together. Risto is the boss - he gets the bed itself.
Äiti was then waiting to see if they would share the bed........ A couple of days later this was a wonderful sight.

This makes us SO happy that they are enjoying their new space! Erratic peeing aside...(not that WE would ever do such a thing!)

Mum says the last picture makes her heart flutter. We say thank goodness you arranged the R&R to have the Annexe, those kitties deserve their peace. Sweet snuggles! <3

It is lovely to see them so happy in their private quarters. Do you think it could be the pellet litter that Risto objects to?
When we had the bag on trial a few years ago, Flynn refused point blank to use it. He would rather keep his legs crossed until he got outdoors to go. Eric would use it under protest. I use clumping clay for Flynn. Not ideal, but he prefers it to anything. He will come in from outdoors to use it then go back out again.

They look very happy ! We hope the out-of-the-box-deposit problem gets fixed soon. Purrs

Here's what my friend does. She has a cat box that has a perforated sifter. You know the kind, the sifting tray fits into the box and you lift it to sift out the deposits. She puts litter UNDER the sifter and then llifts the sifter so it sits above the litter. She uses upended used cat food cans to hold the sifting tray above the litter. That way the cats who are offended by the litter on their feet don't have to walk on it.Then, above the sifter she uses newspapers that she has shredded with her paper shredder . She swears this works for her litter hating kitties.
