Sunday Special Squees

During the stay of our Official Royal Portrait Painter, Äiti visited a very dangerous place: the home of the exemplary King Leo's dynasty. This is a maine coon house,  over flowing with hugely big floofs and many trophies from cat shows as they are very well bred. Äiti has often admired their number and there just so happened to be some kittens around to taunt and tease our  artist friend - who took all these photos as Äiti was otherwise engaged in scritching duties.  Paavo, the big black sop, was winning her heart.
And she was winning his with one of those stinky valerian crocheted taddy poles! Well, they are not tadpoles, but more of those in a future post.
And Kamaro was also very impressed with these herbal highs.
And yes, there were kittens. Squee warning!  And we are delighted to report that all of these little floofs are reserved else perheeni would be expanding. And to be honest none of us want to be squashed by huge maine coons.....
....except Äiti. They took her over! Talk about under the paw.
And didn't they just know it.
Thank you so much, King Leo's, for making sure that all your kittens already had homes by the time Äiti visited......

Oooh, my Lazarus is thought to be part Maine Coon, and he is a large fellow! Those kittens are definitely cute - no wonder they're all spoken for already. I hope you're all doing well!

Those "little" Maine Coon kittens, by the time they reach cat show age, are bigger than I am! My human loves them too, but she always feels like she needs to get them a saddle.

What's wrong with humans? I'm sitting on Mom's lap, being most adorable, and she's squeaking "so cuuuuuuuute". Eh? We're lucky that she doesn't have any money, so she can't afford a Maine Coon. Pöh.

Oh, my! You were indeed very lucky that all of the kittens were spoken for. I have to say, though, that they are mellow cats and I'm fairly certain they wouldn't usurp your kingdom ;-)
