Loyal Readers, which would you rather: one little birdie now, or many at the end of a couple of months ? Okay, I know we all want both options, but right now I am investing in the future and being patient. Observe Mrs Great Tit on the catio wires.
It was a wet day, and Äiti saw from the webcam she was rearranging the nest lining and adding stuff to it. She did not want the birdies to take in wet bedding so I volunteered to help. Mrs GT was curious and entered the Catio. But I held back (Äiti - you were asleep!). Instead I donated some furs!
These glowing, golden extra warm and soft royal floofs will be most excellent for the little snacks to keep warm inside - so they grow bigger and fatter and tastier!
Latest update: 8 eggs in the nest box.

Our hummerburd nest had cat our furs in it too!! King P, you are so right to take the Long View for the treat dispenser...
Sounds like a big family in the making there! But even so, it sounds like a couple of you kitties will be empty-pawed. You may have to draw straws.
It was most restrained of you not to swallow that Mom-Bird. Dare I presume you have a -- conscience????
What a claim to fame - royal bed furs!
Those are some lucky birdies!
(Our Mommy almost said "titties", then decided that was most inappropriate.)
Heh-heh.
Happy Sunday, furriends.
XOXO
You showed great restraint on thinking to the future King P. I don't think I could have done the same.
8 baby burds - yummm.
We would trade some shed furs for more birdies ANNYTIME!
