We are pleased to report that Äiti's 'hiihtoloma' (spring term holiday) has started well. She spent yesterday tidying the Castle - this will be a lengthy process in preparation for The Big Visit . I am of course making sure I am in tip top condition myself for this great event - as always.
Now it is usual, when a cupboard is opened, that things fall out. This is not ideal and usually provokes swearing from Äiti. She has begun to 'declutter' - which actually just means moving it from one place to another But she has made one definite 'improvement ' in her opinion to our food store. The second shelf down has a whole new bag of dried food - we get through one every month or so. This is now out of reach - pöh! The burmese had developed a technique to open the cupboard and happily chew into any bag they could find.

King P, you always look magnificent and ready to receive guests!
Our Mommy had to clean cupboards up high to hold dry food, too. Heh-heh.
She also did a 30 day cleaning challenge - you throw out things for 10 minutes a day for 30 days.
(It makes a bigger impact than you think it will.)
Have a great Sunday !
XOXO
This is so TOTALLY UNFAIR!!!
In other news, we like the Simon's Cat on the inside of the door. At least Mommy will know where your foodables are!
I wonder how long it will take the Burmese to figure out a workaround?
We can send you Mum to help : she's got the gene of decluttering ! We're afraid that one day she could throw us or dad away MOL ! Purrs
De-clutter is good, but I am sure the Burmese will soon find a way to get to the bag of food.
Our Mum finds it easier to throw stuff away when she first gets up in the morning. Later, she starts to overthink everything and de-cluttering goes to hell in a hand basket. And she's got the hand basket stowed somewhere as she tends to be a " will need it later" kind of girl.
Puna, dear, you are magnificence personified!
The Staff here's "turning out" usually just means shifting things from one shelf to another! It's pathetic really!!
I love to declutter. I ran out of stuff to get rid of though- I just wish my hubby would declutter now. :)Please visit us for a cat in the hat giveaway.
