De-Fursday

Our resident house panther, Ruska, is very shy and will not allow brushing. Äiti tries to keep an eye on just how tangled his furs are, and last week she asked that ystävämme eläinlääkäri give him some sedation so she could brush him. She brushed him at home, under the guidance of very many of perheeni who wanted to make sure Ruska was okay.  Here he is asleep, having been brushed for about an hour.
Pekka was guarding him too.
This was all the fur!
Ruska slept off the sleepy drugs in a lamb's fleece, and the next day was dashing around freely, feeling much better.

Tuossa on PALJON karvaa! :O Mutta toisaalta Ruska on iso ja komea, joten äitillä on ollut kova työ harjata. Ruskan turkki on varmaan ihanan silkkinen nyt. <3

That is a bunch of floof! Maybe you should have weighed Ruska before and then after! MOL!

Somehow we feel that all that fur could be useful. Maybe the birds could use it for their nests??

You should save that fur and have it made into yarn! Although if you are like my human, you won't know what to do with it - or if you do, you won't have time.

I think the Human would have taken advantage of his sleepiness to get all grabby hands with him. But Aiti wouldn't do such a thing, now would she???
