Friday Photo Feast

Yesterday we experienced our first sun puddle on the catio. There was a mad scramble of Shortfurs to get as much of it as they could, and Äiti even moved a cat bed so that it could be experienced in comfort.
Golden eyes were shining and Sampo posed in the light.
The shady part of the catio was looking pretty sad.
Our Golden Glacier was becoming a yellow puddle.
Mirsku of course will add to this as he marks his claim to the Rock of Norway.
We have had ridiculously warm weather: a few days of positive temperatures which have melted a lot of snow. You can still see some on the roof behind Mesi.
Although the sunshine is wonderful, and the temperatures were warm (relatively), this is not good in the grand scheme of things. We are due to drop below zero again and stay there, without snow for a few days, that means the catio and everywhere else will become a skating rink covered with sheet ice. And that's more dangerous than any girlcat.

Mesi, You gaze alone is melting ME! Maybe you should close your little eyes and let the weather get all freezy again.

It must be exciting for you to see the sun's rays again after so long. We tend to get sheet ice here instead of snow. No salt gritters in the country lanes and the water run off from the fields soon freezes and steadily gets thicker.

Ice would be no fun for kitties or beans. Enjoy the sun shine!
