Thursday Toys

We have recovered from the excesses New Year and I have been kitten-mittening on Äiti's arm most of yesterday. She's needed this to keep her calm in transiting from one macbook to another -not as simple as she hoped. And now I have a new keyboard to fur up!
Sometimes she hates this electronic world and craves simplicity, such as can be found in cable ties (nippusudet): These have provided us with some excellent fun, and are very much in the spirit of catification (Jackson Galaxy's word) - using non-feline directed objects for our pleasure. Sampo sniffs at the basic building blocks.
Then he tests the simplest toy - two of them just attached together. Äiti waved this back and forth for hours -  a little plastic metronome which pleased many of us.
Mesi joined in.
 And Jura.
Äiti then connected many of them togethr, and hung them from the Dunk.
And at the bottom she wound one of our favourites - the springy toys we were sent from the USA ages back. We have never found these in Europe and absolutely love them
But Äiti's been crafty and we have to unwind them to free them up!

Wow, Äiti's quite creative! I hear there are springs around here somewhere, but I have yet to find them.

Aiti is very creative! We love those springs, too. Now we have even larger ones that are velvety.

Happy Friday, furriends!

The simplest things make the best toys. That is a good use for the cable ties.

I ordered these for our breed association and they will be in selling in some cat shows, where the table is available. Sorry, for promoting on Your blog. ;)
