Fetching Friday

A long time ago, our good buddy Rumblepurr sent Äiti a parcel, in which there was a toy which fast became a favourite with Jura. it was a little woolen piwakawaka birdie, also known as a fantail. Well, Jura was so much a fan of its tail he ate it. Little piwakawaka flew away and hid - well, could you blame it? But the other day, Jura appeared on the sofa with it. The picture shows Mesi kindly providing a tail for it! Jura is trying to work out how to keep possession of it.
Well, sadly he cannot. Mesi is now very much in possession, and this means playing 'fetch' with it for hours. She also does this with a little toy mouse, which is her absolute favourite as Äiti will verify. Mesi has demanded games of 'fetch' at 3am, which is also inconvenient for me, since I am asleep too on the bed, and Mesi leaps dashes over me to get her prize.
Äiti got a video of just how determined Little Princess Buttercup can be to get her favourite mouse. We hope you enjoy it - sorry it's a bit long.

How cute that Mesi likes to fetch! Like Sparkle before me, I expect my human to do the fetching.

OMC! How smart AND adorable is LPB? We were mesmerized by her figuring out how to get birdie out of that hanging puzzle trap thing! Encore! encore!

MESI!!! Fetch is a game for...DOGS!
We kittehz make our humans chase after our toys, only to show displeasure in them afterward.

We guess it was pretty smart and cute when you figured out how to get it out of the net tree.

XOXO

Mesi is very smart to work out how to get her mouse. Eric loved to play fetch, but not me. If mum wants it she can go and get it herself.
