Sunday Sofa Surfing

Does Äiti look in pain ? Does she look old and haggard ?  Is she 5 seconds away from collapse  ? Oh yes. Well, she 'ran' 21km in 2 hours 38 minutes and raised some money for her chosen charity - MANY thanks to those of you who donated (and there's still time for more....).
So she came home - a friend had to drive her she was so tired! And she then collapsed on the sofa after doing the most stupid thing she could have done - had a sauna. You would not believe she is a chemistry teacher so should know all about sodium and its importance in the body. So yes, she felt awful until she swallowed a load of salt!  We were called in to give medical aid, which as you can see demanded a lot of feline work. I am mittening - a very important job as I could check her pulse rate.
And then Jura photobombed - he had to remind her that it was our feeding time. I mean she has had her training schedule and neglected us, so now we have to get her back on our schedule!
And Loyal Readers, she has been spotted surfing sites for her next race. And yes, she wants to do a FULL marathon next summer. Now we know why she supports MIND, the mental health charity: she is most definitely insane.

My human thinks Äiti is a bit crazy too - but then, she knows quite a few humans with the same craziness!

Your human is fantastic, King Punapippuri! Our lazy person won't even WALK to do cardio, let alone try to run. Everyone knows that a purring cat can help humans heal faster, so with all of you purring on her she should be back to normal by tomorrow!!!

The only way my Human would run is if someone was chasing her with a hatchet, and even then she would have to give up after 100 yards and let herself get chopped up.

Kudos to Aiti! She looks about 20 in that picture!

We think running longer than our back yard is nuts. But there is no accounting fer Beins sometimes.

Yesh PPP!
Äiti has not any chances to managed her insane goals without your perfect training team (you understand what food, rest and recovering really means). So, well done head coach - you have made from Äiti a real athlete. And of course GRATTIS Äiti.

Concats to Aiti! That was a tremendous accomplishment. I hope you are helping her recover today and not being too demanding.

Congrats to your Super Aiti! Our mum couldn't run to the drive! She's thin but quite sedentary . Maybe your Aiti will shame our Aiti into action.

Great work Aiti! A walk to the mailbox is the best our mom bean can manage. Though she does say she'll start running the day she sees a happy person at the end of a marathon. (She sometimes helps out at the finish line of our city marathon)

Good work kitties taking care of her so well too!
