Our Official Royal Portrait Painter has utterly excelled herself (again). Denise Laurent and Äiti were discussing a project which would include us all and serve a practical purpose......... The project just grew and grew, and this was the result.
Yes, it includes us all - plus our beloved tuxies Tuomo, Rilli and Harris who are much missed. Even Mesi is on there, and Tessie. The thing is, this painting is HUGE. Here it is on the catio.
Yes, it is 240cm across and the cats on it are life size (well, actually those in the foreground are a bit bigger). This is utterly magnificent. A triumph. Äiti continues to be in awe of Denise's artistic ability and creations.
It will hang in the stairwell of the Castle - and the practical purpose...... Well, apparently it will deal with my peemails (pöh!) down the wall as it is PVC and can be cleaned.
