Outdoor Thursday

Unbelievably, Äiti has succeeded in growing some foods in the garden. Not for us, but for her, and maybe Tessie. We have broad beans, courgettes, parsley, kale and lettuce. None of which we are bothered about, but she is rather pleased with herself.
Part of the reason for this success is the fact she has watered the garden each day, so we have had an ugly garden hose appear in so many photos as she is far too lazy to roll it up and put it out of sight each day. Here Mesi poses elegantly in front of it as she tries to stare at Seppo.
'
Oh yes, the stare grows harder as he approaches. She is wary of Sir Stinkalot.
Seppo goes for the tummy snorgle.
And then for the neck. Mesi responds with a failed rabbit kick and a silent yelp - she doesn't make noises does out little girl.
So she makes up for it by sticking out her tongue: Seppo has retreated.

Mesi! You missed a good ear chomp ( or wrinkle chomp). You have a lovely sweet nature, dear.
Our mum is oohing and aahing over those fresh veggies! Eating them right after picking must be lovely. Tessie must be over the moon with this fresh fare.

Mesi is fearless!
The veggies look tasty. My mum grows lots of veg too. When they went on the cruise one of my holiday aunties was to water all the plants every day and feed them once a week. She forgot what mum said and fed them every day and mum came home to lettuce trees.

Our mom bean says the veg looks yummy!
Us, not so much.

Mesi is sure growing up quickly. Seppo better watch out or she'll be snorgling him, MOL!
