Loyal Readers, we are about to resume a normal schedule as Äiti is back from her trip to Finland (South) - of which there will be a report later - and her exam is over and done with. Our abandonment is over and we are trying to ensure she feels suitable guilt!
Now, on Monday, Äiti received an urgent request form Kissmollin where the mighty huntress Annabella, sister to our very own Jaava and Jura, had caught orava!
Now, for some reason she did not settle to feat on him (it was a man squirrel) but released it to drip blood around her kingdom. The humans there decided it was not mortally wounded so Äiti was asked to provide transportation to ystävämme eläinlääkäri, which of course she did. Now I feel Äiti was disloyal here and should have driven it straight to the catio for us to share. But no, she thought it was 'cute' and 'full of life' etc. Pöh.
And of course ystävämme eläinlääkäri did what he does best and set about patching up orava, who seemed very happy with the process. I mean, just look at him with his smart red bandage......
We have to add that the squirrel Annabella caught yesterday did not have the same happy outcome. Nor did the mole, or great tit. Those Kissmollin girlcats are not to be messed with!

Bravo to Aiti for helping the little guy.
XOXO
Aika söpö! Ja tietyn piirin mielestä varmasti myös aika maukas :)
What, Äiti did not bring you the squirrel? Feh! You kitties certainly would have brought Äiti prey you had, right? Or at least part of it. So I call No Fair.
That's dinner, right? We want TBT ta hand us dinner like that.
The hell with the canned stuff!
Lunch in a fancy packaging!
That bandage looks like a sweater.
Isn't he the most adorable little boy!
That happy little face and those ultra precious little hands and feeties..........squeeeeeeeeee!
FIRSTLY: Mirsku, you refrain from the bald ball biting! For shame...May Ling wants to kiss you on the lips, you know!
SECONDLY: ::dribbles::
Our own numerous red squirrels are more grateful that there is glass between them and us mighty hunters!
Purrs,
The Chans
