The wall mats are a great feature of the Castle. Because, a few years ago, somecat started to claw at the wall paper, Äiti totally gave in and put climbing mats on the wall with access to higher shelves. Ever since, we have been throwing ourselves at them.
They are simply foam backed mats or carpet (cheaply bought from Ikea), screwed into the wall. They can withstand the weight of Mirsku, so we are impressed with the design, even if they do not win awards for neatness.
Here Seppo wonders whether to climb up or not.
Äii still loves the way he holds his tail, which is very typical of sphynxies. But we have noticed that Seppo has a tabby tail! He is a black sphynx but must have tabby genes by the look of it. And we know it's not dirt as he had just had a bath the day before!

Yes, his tail is cute, but our Mommy is in love with those meaty, nekkid thighs!
I love Seppo's tabby tail!
"Foam-backed mats or carpet". Got it. We know what we will demand for our collective Gotcha Day party...
Love that tail! It's just got to feel so sweet to the touch.
Is it minute hairs that give the tabby colouration? Might we have a close
up, please?
He has a very handsome tabby tail.
He should join the Tabby Cat Club!
