Sunday Worship

We have a new food dispenser. Äiti sometimes works longer hours, and she is worried we go hungry. And she also knows that we felines like to have food available all the time so we can graze. However, as you might imagine, grazing is difficult when some members of perheeni simply eat everything and leave nothing to share. So, she found this dispenser of dried goodies, with a 5 litre capacity. First she tortured us.
Mirksu tried the usual method of getting things to work - hitting it.
Pekka tried the paw scratch.
And at some random time, the food appeared. Jura watched in disbelief.
Then Äiti realised that little dish was no good - only a coupe of us could fit round it .So she removed the bottom and waited. Jura was impatient. Seppo sat staring behind him.
And later the food shot out. Sampo and Seppo were first there.
This is a good size portion!
But Äiti was not happy. First she decided to cover the reservoir so we could not see the food inside all the time. And then she strapped it to the bookshelves, a metre above the floor. And Lo! the food fell from the heavens.
And the horde was drawn as if by magic to harvest the manna from the ground. Here 10 of us are able to enjoy the feast.
Oh yes, we are now gathering to worship under the Dispenser of Tasty Kibble which pours forth three times daily right now. Unfortunately it is set to a small distribution of only 2 cups, but it could be adjusted to do more. We are all delighted with this, especially Äiti as her conscience is eased on those long days at work!

Why, it's just a damn miracle is what it is.

We think with a little tinkering that Äiti could get the Omnipotent Food Dispenser to spew little fishies...but in the meanwhile, this will be alright to scrape by on.

Mommy says it's brilliant engineering, btw!

Also, we are aware that some disparaging remarks have been made against some of perheeni's appetites.

For shame!

Our Daddy has these set up in the woods to feed deer. They can hold up to 40 lbs of deer feed at a time. Now that would be an excellent setup! MOL!

Äiti is quite industrious! I'm not so sure such a thing would work here, though - Binga would find SOME way to break into it.

Onpa hieno laite ja äiti on kyllä kekseliäs, kun sitä vähän viritti. Naurattaa tuo Mirskun tapa yrittää saada sitä toimimaan :D

I have my food bowl all to myself, but I think manna from heaven would be, well, heavenly!

How wonderful to have it rain kibble 3 times a day! Aiti is very good at adapting things so they work at their best. She should be an inventor.

What a cool way to get food and let everycat have a chance at it. We do OK with sharing what mum puts out for us.

Oh, awesome nom dispenser! How will Aiti insure that each of you gets a bit of the food? What happens if someone was napping? Guess we'll just have to watch to see if someone gains weight.
