Furless Friday

We are not so very keen on costumes for felines, but little Seppo is being given the option to find out if he likes clothes or not.  he is very easy going to allows them to be put on. Personally, Äiti does not like animals wearing clothes and will only continue to try him with them if he approves. Here he is modeling a lovely fleecy pattern.
Sampo is wide-eyed!
And yes, the inevitable 'does this make my butt look big ?' shot. Thank you Seppo, for the discrete tail angle!
But later he was wearing Sampo - rear view:
Being a top fashion model is exhausting. Here he wears the duvet.
Now leave him alone to sleep.
And the verdict on the clothes ? Well, we're still not sure. Seppo doesn't seem too keen but nor does he try to rip them off. And we are keeping the house nice and warm, and he loves the sauna!

Well, Mommy thinks he looks darling in his sweater! We imagine he's certainly warmer in it...maybe brown isn't his color? Then again, Seppo does look pretty good in SAMPO!

We think wearing Sampo beats the sweater, paws down!

He looks adorable, but if he prefers noodity, let it all hang out!

Pee Ess - we think Sampo is "his color" MOL!

We are against clothes on animals, too. Warm blankets on sofas and cat beds will keep Seppo warm.

I think he looks very proud of his new coat (he looks less proud of the Sampo outfit)

Well, we're not absolutely sure about that colour knitwear on Seppo Maybe something a little brighter? The arrangement with Sampo seems to be working well for both of them!

We wonder if the clothes aren't warm enough--still quite a bit of bare skin showing!

He looks much better snuggled under the duvet rather than wearing clothes. His Sampo outfit does look rather fetching though.

Sampo looks horrified ! LOL at his expression. We agree with Terri, above, about the clothing.
We learned, when we adopted an
elderly cat that was completely
shaved, that csts don't seem to like
any bulkiness under their chins. We
used a dog coat and Cubby tolerated
that very well. It had a wide piece
under the chest/ stomach area for
extra warmth. Actually, in retrospect,
he seemed to like the warmth.
