Preparations for spring

We are preparing for a long, dark winter but have forced Äiti to think ahead. When the birdies return and start looking for nesting places there is still deep snow on the ground so it is too late to set up a new box. So, even though it looks huge for the apple tree, we made Äiti put up a new snack dispenser. Notice there is a wire coming from it.
We were not the only ones watching - this great tit was cheekily on the catio -which is out of bounds to us thanks to  nekkid newcomer. The bird is sat on top of catiocam! The nerve of it. Aila and Mirsku are drooling.
But, we will have the last laugh. That cable goes all the way to our tv. We can see inside our snack dispenser and will hopefully watch eggs, chicks and then ready meals emerge. This is indeed something to look forward to over the winter months.

Reality Bird TV - how exciting! What's the show called? Tit House? (Oops, that sounds kind of dirty... hadn't intended it that way.)

What a great idea! We want a snak dispenser with a video, too!

Aiti sets the bar pretty high on kitteh entertainment.

Live bird tv? Your Aiti is a talented woman.
The previous header photo was more regal. We love the new one, too.
