Yesterday there was a knock on the door, and one of the neighbours had called with her two little girls and a bag of fish! Did we perhaps want some fish that had freshly been caught from the lakes. Yessir! Of course we did. Look at this lot!
The finest Finnish ahven (perch) says Äiti who really doesn't know one end of a fish from another. And she had never before gutted one - and then she had 7. Hehehehe. Oh yes, that was a sight to behold. Pekka was straight in there to help.Oh, we were feasting. This was a most excellent catch. We really do have some thoughtful neighbours. Kiitos!

I would think the 12 of you MIGHT have been able to take care of that gutting yourselves? Well, at least Pekka has his tongue neatly tucked inside his mouf where it belongs.
They do not look like our perch at all!
We are drooling over these pics and most green with envy!
Have a great Caturday, furriends.

You have nice neighbours. It is very healthy to eat ahven. I like it too.

We agree with Spitty--you kitties could have taken care of the fish easily. Just throw them on the catio and let the fun begin!
Mowzers, that sounds nommilicious! We would be laughing at our mommy too - she's never stared a perch in the eyeballs before (MOL!).
Wow, you got a real good treat! Yum
Fish, with GUTS and EVERYTHING!?!?!?
ooohhh...feeling faint...
::TREMENDOUS GROUP THUD::
Now that would have been fun to watch your mum take care of those fishes so you could eat them.
Luck beyond belief! Kitties everywhere are envious beyond belief!
