Tuomo Thursday

Our official portrait painter, Denise Laurent, has been commissioned again to immortalise Tuomo, who left us for the Bridge last Christmas. Now Äiti negotiated a triptych of pictures of him in action, snorgling Jura, snd the package containing this amazing sequence arrived yesterday.

One of the main things Äiti remembers Tuomo for is the wrestling he did with the ninjas. They were his entertainment and he was always so good natured with them. He was a grumpy old mancat who was never very sociable with the others, but he loved Jaava and Jura. And he loved Äiti - she still misses him waking her up for a tummy tickle.

But this trio was not enough for our royal artist, she sent Äiti this painting. Uskomaton!  It is on the bookshelves looking down on us and Äiti says it really captures Tuomo's smile, and she feels he is watching over her.
And finally, another surprise. A most magnificent painting of my humble self which we will display for you soon.  Now this is indeed worthy of King Kitty Cat of Finland (North). We are extremely grateful to Denise and my tail has been fluffing with pride and zeal at the thought of another painting of me in the gallery. All these photos Äiti takes are very well, but true nobility are destined for oil and canvas.

These are truly wonderful. It nearly brought tears to the woman's eyes, just looking at them. (never mind her, she's half-witted sometimes)

We can't wait to see the King's painting!

Have a happy Thursday, furriends!

It's like having your very own Michelangelo, King P! These are fan-tas-tic!!! We really love the series with Jura, especially the third picture. They look like they were having a ball together ;-)

It is also nice that Tuomo can look down on Aiti from his new perch atop the shelf, just as he does from his perch at the Bridge.

Can't wait to see YOUR portrait!
