Monday Memories

Since it is the week of yet another Great Abandonment, and I am sulking, we have some archive material for you. Today Aila-sisko is showing off her thinner form from a few years ago!
And here she is a pikku pentu.  She is maybe 7 weeks old in this photo, having just come from the Moggery cat rescue home where she was with her mother and two sisters.
Her mother cat didn't know what to do so when she and the others were born, didn't clean up. Luckily the bundle of kittens was taken to a vet and three survived. They developed slowly with wobbly backlegs and not focusing their eyes so it was thought they were maybe oxygen-deprived. For this reason, Äiti took Aila who was, ahem, the least clever of the litter. However this was a sneaky girlcat ploy: Aila is in fact very clever and this was clearly something she just did to get a good home!

Aha! We knew it. Smart since she was a wee kitten. The good looks were there all along, too!

Hang in there kittehz, the week will go quickly!

Safe travels to Aiti.

Aila! What a sweet little baby girl you were! And you are still a gloriously lovely LadyCat today!

Are you having a house-trashin' pawty while Aiti is gone??

Exquisite kitty! No wonder your Aiti fell under her spell.
Your Aiti sounds like our mum, taking one with the suspected handicap. We've had blind, deaf, neurological impairment, earless due to cancer, legs missing, feet missing, gunshot wounded, extremely aged, renal failure, spinal stenosis, hypertension, cardiomyopathy and on and on. The one thing our mum found we ALLl had in common was brains! Lots and lots of brains!
