Watchful Wednesday

Loyal readers, we love your comments! Yesterday Flynn was watching catiocam while Sampo was getting special treatment. Although Äiti is horrified that she is perhaps observed doing things outside and the world can see what a lazy lump she is, we are delighted that we have a worldwide audience and you tune in across the innerwebs!
What were we watching, we adult mancats from inside the catio?
Well, pikku prinssi is allowed outside! He has a little harness and is training Äiti in how he wants to use the lead.
Already he is looking at the prey outside - here a dragonfly.
He is quite the handsome mini- mancat in the sunshine. Äiti wants to get him used to the lead as he will be at shows and it will be so much more fun for him if he can wander around on a lead like his aunt Annabella does.
Personally he can keep the lead training for himself - my only interest is in getting out beyond the catio, but without any harness!

Oh, and Äiti has finally put up the skyway - the wooden planks across the catio. These can be seen on catiocam too.

We agree about him keeping the lead training to himself. We don't think we'd like it either.

The Human put one of those things on me once and I actually kind of foamed at the mouth. I was so terrified she thought she'd killed me.

Mommy is laffin so hard at Spitty's post, she's cryin!

Looks like handsome Sampo is going to be a pro at this leash thing! Happy Wednesday. xoxo

How fun for Sampo! My human says her next Somali (or who knows, other random cat) will be able to go all over the place with her and hopefully even be a therapy cat! It was clear I did not have the temperament the moment my human walked out of the breeder's door with me!

Sampo looks so precious in his litlle blue harness! He is the most adorable boy! His colour is just exquisite!
Learning to use his lead and harness will open up new worlds and adventures for him.
((Yes, Puna, you were the most adorable of kitties.)

After watching the ninjas in action, I now understand why you chose to call them like that. One of them almost flipped the camera over. They seem to run faster than light.

We love leash trained kitties! They can safely go outside and snoop to their heart's content :)

I picked the wrong time to see the catio but will keep trying until I can see you. Hope the leash training goes well. Hugs GJ x

It was fun to watch Sampo enjoying the garden, and to see you all lined up watching him. Someone kept meow meow meowing and I think it was you Punapippuri.

Pikku Prinssi certainly looks handsomely lethal outside (iffen you ignore the leash). We are sure he will become a great hunter.

Prince Sampo certainly seemed to be enjoying his outing! When will his first show be?l
