We'd like to think Sampo puts his paws together for applause, but really he just wants to catch the string! But we are celebrating the start of the Great Summer Holiday, and also today's 'graduation' of Äiti's class at school. Another load of 16 year olds are being released from the education factory - only wethinks this lot deserve medals as well their report cards, as they have had to put up with Äiti's sense of humour for the last five years.

Those kids had Äiti as a teacher for five years?! And both she and her students are both alive and relatively well? That would never happen here in the U.S. I hear the kids here are crazy... and the teachers aren't much better.

I am sure Sampo is applauding because Aiti is home now. I just saw you in the catio. I have to tell mum to turn it on in the morning when the sun is shining in. It is too shady to see you clearly now.
