Wistful Wednesday

There have been too many new friends at the Rainbow Bridge recently. They were waving their tails to tell us all is well, but it still doesn't help those with heavy hearts left behind. We know that across the world so many are crying for those who have given so much love and are now gone. Some old time legends have now taken their place in the stars.
Our tails are tipped and heads are bowed.

"And what I assume you shall assume,
For every atom belonging to me as good belongs to you." (Walt Whitman)

The Human, being an English teacher, cannot help but go all Circle-of-Life goopy once in awhile, and the beauteous northern lights pictures made her think of the Whitman line about the atoms. Which made her think about how we all do share the matter of the universe and how we all cycle through it in various combinations through eternity and for some reason that gives her some comfort during sad times. XOXOXO

Instead of bowing our heads in sorrow, it is always best to look up into the sky...

I'm new in the bloggy world and i'm just beginning to have friends. Though i haven't met most which crossed the rainbow bridge, i still feel sad for their mom, dad and friends.

I will look up the sky and purr for them...

Nice thought that they are up there, showing off with the northern lights. Too bad we rarely get to see them where we live.

Beautiful, moving tribute to those who have gone before. We find great comfort and wholeheartedly believe in those waving tails. Their life force goes on and expresses itself in different ways in endless changes.
