Whapless Wednesday

We are all less than impressed here as Äiti has to go back to work today. We all feel she should stay at home and spend her time with us.  For a start we could do with some new photos as she is stil using some from the 'recent archives'. These were taken on Christmas Day when our tummies were full of turkey.
Aila-sisko decided that she would take on the Mighty Mirsku. However neither was really prepared to move so as you can imagine there was a great deal of girlcat psyching out the opposition.
Paw whaps were whacked through the air but no contact was made.
But this was about as aggressive as it got. Just as well, as they are both well-built, weighty felines.
Instead Aila relied on staring and mean tactics. We mancats just get on with the whapping - non of this psychological stuff.
And it worked. Poor Mirsku retreated. And look at Aila-sisko just spread her paw in delight!
We just know Mirsku is an easy going mancat who didn't want any trouble so he took the diplomatic way out. He went to find a stash of kissanminttu and forgot all about this indignity within seconds.

No indignity there. Mirsku simply took the high road. We know many humans that could learn from him! Happy Wednesday!

Yeah, we don't want Rumblemum to go back to work either. We're suggesting that Rumbledad get two jobs so that Rumblemum can be a stay at home mummy to us.

He isn't going for it...YET!

Oh those wily girlcats! They have all sorts of mean tricks up their furry sleeves! One of the Kitties Who Came Before was Mistress of Psychological Warfare. Certainly SHE could never have been trusted to remain quietly within the confines of Kiimamaa. Like *I* can. Probably.

P.S. Tell Äiti that here in educationally and morally lax America, my Human does not have to go back until next Monday!

Often, distractions are true life-savers.

Sorry about you being abandoned. We consider ourselves lucky that our #1 works (mostly) at home.

Too much turkey to tussle? What a heavenly way to live. Now, which way to the sauna?
