Territorial Tuesday

At the weekend we caught sight of something very rare right now - sunshine! It was not on the catio, but in the hinterlands there was light! Pekkagazes on longingly.
The light was sufficient to send some birdies fluttering around. One pikku varpunen even came to inspect the snack dispenser.
Pekka did the clicky noises and jaw wobbles. Ever hopeful!
I was waiting hopefully too.
And the hint of sunshine made me raise my tail and peemail the wall with my signature. This is my Kingdom afterall.
Some loyal readers have asked about the progress of the Golden Glacier. The truth is, we have not had much snow. Poo Corner is frozen over and Äiti has carved a path out to it, but the sides of the path are not so high so no cat has yet been tempted to write in the snow. We also are not spending much time outside as it's not sunny. But we still have four months of snow so there will be plenty of opportunity -and we will of course keep you informed of developments.

Goodness, you need to get your human to sweep the snow off your perches so you can sit in relative comfort! Unless you use the snow to hide behind? MOL

Even a little bit of sunshine at a distance is better than none at all!

We were told we would get snow last night but we didn't...

Our sun is setting around 4:50 or so now, and it's great not to have it dark at 5PM anymore. We're one day closer to Spring...Yippee!

Here's hoping you have more birds visiting and venturing close enough to drop into your waiting mouths. ;-)

We're being freeze- dried in our virtually humidity free cold weather. Coldest day-ever- for our area and tonight we'll see 22F/-5C. Hope to get to 50F/10C tomorrow. We are 25 degrees F below normal. Keep warm, loves.

It is exciting to see the glow of the sun in the distance. We wish the rain would let the sun visit us too.

We are sure you will all get plenty of chances to write in the snow!
