Britcat Tuesday

We thought that Lewis should feature - it is long overdue that he made an appearance.
He continues to be less confident than his litter brother Harris, but he does appear at meal times and will wait at the kitchen door.
He is good friends with all of us, and will snuggle in the sauna and on the bed with any of us. He just doesn't like humans. But that's okay with Äiti - she is sad as she'd love to give him cuddles but she knows he is happy in feline company and that is the most important thing for all of us.

Boodie is more of a cat's cat too - my human can pick her up and pet her and she will relent, but she is shy around most other humans and it is clear she is more comfortable around other cats.

Lewis is a lucky kitty !
Thanks to Äiti to do understand and take care of him.
Many human will give him back to where he come from. I sure one day Lewis will learn to take a cuddle from human. For now, My mom think she should do hiding ; )

Thank you Aiti. The way you approach your cats is one of the reasons i read your blog daily. You respect and you value them and this is what i expect from all pet owners. Lewis is a lucky boy to have you as his Aiti. Just keep on loving him.

Your Äiti is very wise. It is good to see Lewis happy, even if that happiness doesn't include human cuddles.

Hello Lewis! I so understand - humans are best kept at tail's length distance. But if they do get their grabby hands on you, you can do what I do and make it a test of how long you can stand it w/o wriggling and clawing your way to freedom. I'm up to 15 seconds at this point. What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger, I say. Good luck and hope to see more of you soon!

Hello darling Lewis! We are so pleased to see you!
That you are happy is the most important thing in the world to your mum and to us too! She loves and accepts you just as you are. We believe that you love her too but something just gets in the way of you showing her.
Our love to you and hope to see more of you. We've got a soft spot In our hearts for scaredy cat boys.

Some kitties just don't warm up to humans as much as others. As long as Lewis is safe, warm and fed that is all that matters :)

He is happy in his own way and that is what is important.

Lewis is very handsome!
I can understand...not all of us enjoy being petted. I'm VERY particular about who I let touch me and when.

Hey PPP!

Nice to see Lewis. He is so handsome and looks like real gentleman. Also he is wise, he knows that you can only trust on cats. Your kingdom is safe place to live, and Lewis enjoy it.
