Christmas Jackpot part 1

Yesterday was our Finnish Christmas, and we were delighted to get to open a huge present from our great friend in Finland (South), Ruska's sister Raisu and her family. Her human is very generous, and is the sister of the lovely lady who gave a home to Ruska, Roosa, Risto and our beloved Rilli. She sadly died, but her sister and also a very kind friend in Muhos have always remembered us and send food parcels. We think we have to call her our gummi, which is like a 'godmother'.
I was the first to investigate the parcel. Jura watched in awe.
Jaava-ninja was very taken by the box which was for Äiti. Well, it's for all of us as it contained a great alarm clock. Which we can set so Äiti never over sleeps and misses our breakfast, hehehe.
There were two big bags of food. I am not sure why we have the 'exigent' bag though - Äiti muttered something about it being very suitable for fussy eaters like me. Pah!
Jura went pawing around all the cans of food and treats.
Ruska came for a look too. So many cans, and so helpfully contained in a brand new litter tray - which we desperately need as one of ours is a bit cracked. Probably due to heavy use, hehehehe.
So Äiti wanted to see just how happy Ruska was. He thought carefully as she held out a treat.
And yes, he took it from her hand! At the moment he is shedding fur all over the house but of course will not let her get close enough to brush him.
Risto and Roosa got their treats later, and Risto had a lovely cuddle in bed this morning. He didn't feel quite so comfortable with two pairs of ginger mancat eyes jealously looking at him, but Äiti was gald he stayed for a while.
This evening  Äiti opened a couple of delicious tins of food and we feasted - and it wasn't even supper time. We have nice full tummies and are waiting for our English Christmas tomorrow.
