Snowy Saturday

Yesterday morning Äiti crawled out of her pit of a bed to find the world was white. We had already been out on the catio as the tuulikaappi is still open, and there were paw prints everywhere in the snow. Oh yes, you cannot keep a brave Fincat inside! We joined Äiti outside when she finally emerged. Jura-ninja was completely at ease with the white stuff.
He was watching out for Mirsku. Paksu-poika likes a good pounce in the snow.
But for once he didn't leap on the ninja - instead they synchronised leg twitches.
So Mirsku then kept a watch out for playful mancats.
And indulged in a very rapid snow-slap with Pekka-poika.
In the meantime, I was surveying my kingdom and making sure all was well. Äiti has not taken down our shelves yet, so she better get cracking before more snow comes along.

These are wonderful photos! When I saw the first one, I thought it was a wild cat that your Aiti saw and took a picture of.

I enjoyed these photos very much!

Gaaahhhh! It's too early for snow. Seriously. Though parts of Canada (out west) have had some too. Bleh. LOL.

Ah! 'Tis winter come! It's gotten a lot colder here too and our heating is finally on. We heard there was some snow a ways north of us, but we appear to be safe for now.

I have seen in many many winters, how brave Fincats are. Snow and freezing wind will never discouraged us. We are made of stone and brave.

Snow! Goodness gracious! Mum doesn't let us out if it's below 10C/50F! But then we are warm weather family. We will gladly nap on our screened patio when temps. are 43C/110F.
Kitty feet must possess amazing properties. Beans can hardly bear to stand in the snow barefooted for a moment even though they have great big feet. But kitties, with their little feet and thin legs,
will romp on and on.
