We don't really like windows much Wednesday

Loyal readers, there is turmoil here. We have never seen Äiti in such a bad mood. And this has had serious consequences: we have been denied laptop access while she faffs around with various laptops herself. And also you have never heard such terrible language: I have discovered Äiti is quite fluent in bad Finnish words. And the word we keep hearing after a rich variety of adjectives,  is Windows. We also keep hearing the word Mac a lot and occasionally Linux. Äiti is trying to install the software for her studies and is Going Mad because it won't work. And she hates all computers and all people who write software that won't work for her, and has decided at several points that an old laptop really should become a heating pad for us. We liked the sound of that but then she stupidly Had Another Go and got stressed all over again. I've decided that I shall help her by peemailing all over the windows, but she didn't like that when I gave the old bottom wiggle in front of the curtains. Wrong sort of windows apparently. Pah ! It's all the wrong sort of stuff.  Laptops, mice, chemistry - we are almost demanding a return to language classes. At least she was nearly human then!
Stran-veli calmed her though. He is perhaps the only one of us who can as he has known her through many incarnations of computers and electrical disasters. So, a quick grab of the Magic Fish and she is beginning to calm down.
A close up of furry toes and her blood pressure is dropping.
And who could possibly stay tense when there's such a handsome ginger mancat around.
Oh, and we have a little destressing extra for you all. Here is a link to a webcam on pointed at a beautiful 'cat nest'.  The headline says 'has your day been a bit too heavy? watch this'. And we couldn't agree more. However, please be careful as there might be a human meltdown as 'kitten fever' takes over your human and the squeeing begins!

Loyal readers - now WE don't like Windows. Apparently no one can link to this post from facebook becuse the title was abusive to a facebook partner. Now we are peeing ourselves laughing. And we've changed the titles. Even Äiti has had to laugh because it is so so so stupid. Imagine, we are abusive warriors of the interwebs declaring war on an Operating System.

Poor Äiti, I know many of us humans can relate to her! I hope she´ll come down soon enough, though I think you do not look too distressed yourself in these photos, but rather playful and relaxed! Carry on!

Impawssible! Aiti would probably benefit from some ginger biskit-making, too. Nothing says loving like ginger mancats makin love biskits on their Mom's lap. Good luck with the 'puter!

Stran to the rescue! Now if only he could fix that Windows thing while doing de-stressing duties...

We have Macs and that is the reason. Never the Bloo Screen Of Death or viruses or whatnots... Not even ads.

I sympathize with Aiti. Keep up your de-stressing duties, Stran. I hope that the problem is solved soon.

Sending Aiti purrs for calm and peace.

We'll have our Magic Fish thank-you post tomorrow, btw. :-)

One look at Stran's beautiful face and you can feel your stress and cares just floating away.
Don't talk to us about computers. Our mum is a dummy; that's why we can't have a bloggie of our own.

You know, it's like there is some kind of psychic link between Finland and San Francisco today. The Human gotted so INSANELY upset at her work computer today her officemate thought maybe she was going to have a little stroke or something! She was typing some stuff into a Word table and she Could Not Make It Stop Autoformatting in a way she Did Not Want. She turned off the autoformatting like 100 times but it kept doing it anyway. Eventually she had to go teach a class but she never did solve the problem. I'm skeered of what will happen when she goes back there tomorrow. Do you think she could DIE from this???
