Britcat Friday

Look at this! We have another utterly magnificent artistic creation to go on our splendid gallery wall. This was a complete surpise for Äiti and for us. Look at the way our Britcat brothers have been captured. Loistava!
This masterpiece was done by our very own Carolyn-täti in  England. She knows Harris and Lewis very well, and was their best buddy back in Bristol. When Äiti abandoned them to move here, she was round every day giving food and tickles. Harris-veli does not let humans near him, but Carolyn is the exception! And the painting really captures their expressions so well. Lewis sadly looks nervous and, Harris is more curious but ready to run.  This is pretty typical of them!

We Finncats were very pleased to meet Carolyn-täti a while ago - we hope it weren't be too long before she comes back. Afterall, it's about time she painted me!  And we send our regards to our cousins Bramble and Treacle - especially to Bramble who has just had surgery on her second cruciate ligament tear.
This makes me shudder with the memory of my naughty kneecap surgery. All our very best wishes to you, Bramble Bare Leg - be patient and you'll be out of the convalescent cage prison soon!

What a beautiful and thoughtful gift. It is especially wonderful because of the expressions on the kitty's faces.
Our purrs and prayers are with Bramble during her recovery.
