Monday Muscle Stretches

Our sporting theme continues. And Äiti has asked me to apologise that some of our photos are not up to gold medal standard. When the ninjas are still, she says, there's no problem. But even at (yawn) 1000ISO or more and a (zzzz) shutter speed of 1/250 she still cannot get it right, Apparently if they had ginger fur then she could get the exposure right in the sun. Which, of course, goes to prove that orange cats are best!
Here Jaava is having a warm up stretch.
But she leaves the harder stuff to her brother. Girlcats - honestly!
Jura has spotted the  magic fish.
Jura has missed catching the magic fish.
And again!
Go Jura! Bring the fishie home.
Yay! Good catch Jura!
We warn you, there are many more photos like this, just from one session. He goes on, and on, and on. Of course, if you all write comments that you do not wish to see these upstart little burmese butterball athletes and wish to see more photos of a fluffy, handsome, less manic, restrined mancat, I can make sure your wishes are fulfilled, hehehehe.

Is there a sports setting on the camera? Have you tried that? My human is loathe to shoot any way but manual but once or twice she actually found specific automatic settings really work! Or maybe the camera has not yet been invented that can capture Jura's non-stop action!

Oh my gosh, Olympics are nothing compared to these athletes! I truly enjoyed, though it is a pleasure to see pictures of Your fluffines as well.

Oh we love pictures of ALL the kitties! See, King Punapippuri? I am practicing my diplomacy skills just as you suggested. Honestly! I've never been in so much trouble in my LIFE!!!

Well, variety is the spice of life. But these pics of the ninja are great! These kittehz seem to be made of rubber!

We think the camera hasn't been invented yet that can capture Jura's action. LOL. (Referencing Sparkle's comment.)

The photos are fine! Most of us around the CB take so-so snapshots, your pics are in another class entirely. (As are those of a handful of others.)

BTW, your Aiti might get a kick out of this: For a long time now our human's been complaining that her Fuji HS10 (bridge p&s) turns out snapshots that are too blue and need to be adjusted in PS Elements. She's fiddled with the settings, WB, etc. and ended up with too yellow or still too blue (mostly of us--landscapes seem okay).

Well, a few days ago, in the evening, she had a sudden thought: Take the friggin' haze filter off the lens, dummy.

Yeah, that seemed to do the trick.

Shows how much SHE knows!

More photos! Please! Nothing can get us laughing better than the ninja's boneless bodies in action.
Bring on the butterballs!

Mommy has the same photo problem with the Whitesters, and the white bits on the rest of us: BLINDING OVEREXPOSURE! If Äiti figures it out please let our Mommy know. Mommy also uses the sport setting and external fill flash for action shots.
As for the ninjas, they are incredible. We are speechless in wonder!

Meille kelpaa aina sellainen ihastuttava punertava pallero, ei kun siis komistus. Mutta ei lihaksetkaan huonot ole :)

You are SO right that others simply do not unneerstan the diplomatic demands of being King. Maybe we should organize a Summit for all the Kitty Royalty??
