Today we show the Flying Bottom of Disrespect to Äiti as she is off to work (and even we think she should be home in bed sick). Her new school year has started and she is trying to tell us she needs to earn money to keep us in the style to which we have become accustomed, but we refuse to accept this. We leave it to Jura-ninja to make our feelings known.
We thank you for your concerns yesterday. Luckily Äiti's temperature dropped enough for us to lie on her without being grilled, and we were able to rest peacefully on her on the sofa where she vegetated all day except for our meal times. She is functioning fairly normally now, so we need not have emergency rations air lifted in.
And, loyal readers, I am pleased to announce I got a bronze medal in the smackdown event, for my little altercation with Pekka-poikka.
Now if Pekka had corrected his grip and maybe had his paws visible, I would of course have won gold. He needs to correct his positioning for future success in the judging.
But many congratulations to the silver and gold medallists, especially my buddies Bibi and Genji from The Poupounette.

Concatulations on the medal! I laughed at your back of disrespect!
Well, I guess it is nice that your human is feeling better, even if it means she is off doing something that Does Not Directly Involve Serving Your Every Need.
We are sharing our Gold Medal with you and with JB and Charli!
We are concerned that your poor Äiti has had to go off to work in such a state. And what's with Finland's school year starting before the middle of August? Are they mad?
Purrs,
The Chans
OH NOES! We didn't know your mom had a fever and was sickies. I am so glad you helped bring the fever down by absorbing her heat lying on her.
Great Bottom of Disrespect! I need to learn how to show my mom that too!
XXOO

It is good that Äiti is on the mend, but bad that work has begun again. We think the students need to come to HER.
Glad your mum is feeling better but tell her to take it easy. I just love that action shot. Brilliant. Congrats on your award.. Hugs GJ xx
Concats on your medal. We are glad Aiti is feeling better than she was and hope she is soon feeling all better again. Jura has mastered the art of the bottom of disrespect.
Super concats on your medal! Your photo was so unique that we felt that it definitely deserved gold. You guys have to stop being so modest. And we don't mean about showing the bottom of disrespect!
