Thursday Consolation

As we were unable to enjoy the local wildlife on the catio, Äiti tried to make up for it. We had a visit from ruotsalainen hiiri, Swedish mouse.
This didn't fool me, but the younger ones were amused. Jaava was straight at it.
It got a good clawed and chewed.
And whapped.
 And jumped over.
And thrown around.
It was indeed great fun watching the youngsters play. It also kept them out of our fur for a while. However kids never know when to stop and Jaava and Jura continued to play - with a bee! Jaava got stung and there was an emergency phone call to ystävämme eläinlääkäri and Äiti had the right medicine here already for her. She is now fine, but put up a great fight against the pill. Mirsku-veli then tried to eat the bee. We don't know if he got stung or not - he just carried on as normal!

Thank cod the right meds were at paw; bee stings can be so awful. Let's blame it on the mousie! Next time: BEE CAREFUL!! (sorry, Mommy is lame)

You guys stick to playing with Swedish Mouse, stay away from those bees!! I don't even think a bee would taste good!

I think my human sent out bee energy today - this was her Wordless Wednesday pic from her photoblog: http://eaglerockscenes.com/wordless-wednesday-busy-bee/

Ever since it went up, she has been seeing bee posts of one type or another!

A bee gotted inside our house once. I tried to ded it and eat it, but the Human took it away from me. That made me a Mad Cat, but maybe I should have been more grateful???

You kids sure had fun with your mousie!!!

Did your Aiti get the stinger out? That's the bad part.
Jaava is such a pretty girl. Really beautiful little face. And thatrubber body! We can't believe how she, and Jura too, can get into such outrageous positions.
Poor Mirsku! You keep calm and carry on and no one gives you any attention! Sheesh! Kisses and hugs, sweeties.

I'm happy to say that my aunt also visited Ikea in Haparanda and brought us two Swedish mice/rats and my friend Oliver really loves to play with them! And he also loves the tunnel that Aunt also bought there. Bah, I'm not that childish! I just enjoy the sunshine lying quietly on the terrace like the proper Spanish lady that I am.

Better a fake rat than a real one. That's what I say!

What fun to see Jaava playing with Swedish Mouse. We are glad she had no ill effects from the bee sting.
