Sunday snoozing

It's been a hard week, with worries about Stran-veli. We have also been busy making sure the ninjas behave, and patrolling the catio for stray snacks. But Pekka-poika has found it all a bit much and was found on the sofa snoring. Yes, snoring. Here's the evidence.....
I of course do not snore: it is not becoming for a King to do so. Nor do I emit noises from the other end, despite what anyone might say. That's Jura-ninjas job!
Yesterday Äiti went to Ruotsi. She usually buys loads of stuff for us there as there is an Ikea which has lots of nice blankies for us. When she was in the huge pet shop she met a lovely woman who was raising money for Meri-Lapin animal rescue. Äiti always wants to support  these places and is very interested in how they work, especially after all the things she knows about English places. They also work in Finland and Sweden, which is unusual, and they get no help from the governments. Pah! They don't even have a place where they keep the animals - they are all in private homes. We think the people who do this work, for no pay - in fact it costs them - are heroes. Total heroes. And we know there are a lot of you reading this blog who do similar work. Heroes.

Yes, I think that a rest sounds very needed after all of that.

Binga snores sometimes too. Don't let her know she is busted!

I follow a number of blogs where the humans foster kitties, and they are all awesome!

These people are heroes in our book, too! As far as snoring, it is my experience that the daintier the kitteh, the bigger the snore! Princess snores like a freight train. MOL!

Hyvät unet!

Huonosti kohdelluista tai hylätyistä eläimistä huolta pitävät ovat kyllä todellisia sankareita!

Yes, the people that use their time and resources to help us are real heroes. They are wondrous beings that walk among us unnoticed, unrecognized for all of the great work they do. What would have become of most of us if one of these special people had not helped us in our time of need? We shudder to think!
Our prayers are with dear Stran. Give him some hugs and kisses for us, please.

We are so pleased to hear that Stran is feeling better.

People volunteering at animal shelters are awesome! That of course goes for fostering animals too.

We agree, those people are heroes!
Eric snores too - almost as loud as our dad.
