Pekka-poika perjantai - Pekka-boy Friday

Loyal readers, I thank you for the twitter following; I am now regularly 'tweeting' to announce my blogposts. I also have a 'facebook' page, but for those of you who just want to follow the blog, be assured all the really important stuff is here. But I do have exciting news to share later on about another blog - but that must wait for a while before telling.
Now, with my own realm of the interwebs, I try to be fair to members of perheeni and offer them blog space, with extra shares for me of course as it is my blog! So I guess it is time for Pekka to get a look in, and I know there are plenty of readers who will just melt at his deep staring eyes and ginger furs.
I don't know why - long fur is much more attractive! But he does know how to tart.
I apologise for the vegetation on the catio. It is summer and Tessie-kilpikonna is wanting to eat. Each day Äiti throws out three lettuces for her to graze on. They are consumed. In fact they are butchered. We have no idea where she puts it and fully expect her shell to explode at some point. She has a phenomenal appetite.
Anyway, yesterday we were out sunning ourselves, having a bit of nip, and of course mancats will be mancats. It all started with Pekka-poika cheekily slurping at Mirsku-veli.
This was, or course, most foolish. The paws were out. Mirsku reaches out one paw, and Pekka-poika stands up on back legs like a flapping girlcat.
One Mirsku thwack and Pekka's really going to clap his head.
But no, he runs away. Please notice Stran-veli has been at watching it all in amusement.
Pekka sneaks Paksu-poika a mean look. I sit there just keeping away from trouble. And Tessie-kilpikonna is in the middle of us, wondering where her lettuce is.
Mirsku-veli grabs a nip stalk and sticks his tongue out at Pekka-poika.
And soon he is in the land of flying pink mousies and doesn't care about anyone nor anything.
Sorry about the rear view but as you know we Fincats don't care who sees what and when as it's all natural so why be embarrassed ?
In the meantime Pekka-poika went off to find someone else to play with and found Jaava-ninja.  She is totally recovered from her bee sting.
And was not harmed by Pekka's enthusiastic neck grabbing.

Wonderful pic of ginger furs and staring eyes - we are most captivated. Our Mommy is most captivated by the tarting and cavorting on the catio !

What is with the smacky paws? Pekka does play kinda girly - in fact, I think we three girlcats here play tougher than that!

The human sez this is great--a lufly white belly to snorgle and a wrasslin match!

We wonder when it is safe for the turtle to eat with all the playing kitties :)

You lost our Mommy at the "tarting" photo!

So Tessie is actually a porcine terrapin? Interesting.
