So, what were we staring at....? It was siili, a hedgehog! Bad photo but you can see the spikeys.
Last year it came visiting and it squeezed into the catio. This year it couldn't get through but we said hello anyway.
And we also had a visit from cheeky orava, the squirrel.
Oh how we wished and wished he'd fall into our welcoming paws. And jaws.
Loyal readers, do you know what mean Äiti has done ? She left us with the tuulikaappi door to the catio SHUT. We can't go outside. Well, the upstairs balcony is open, but not our beloved catio. And that's because the nesting box in the garden is full of snacks, who might be ready to fly. She's worried that they'll fly to us. How crazy is that ? Of course they should fly to us! No worries. And Äiti is delighted she has the most excellent, experienced cat sitter who cannot be manipulated by us. Now there's a challenge........ Wethinks Äiti will come home tonight to one trashed house.

House trashin? We're on our way, I've been workin on a good hairball all day long! HaHaMeow! Safe travels to Aitia.
That'll teach her to block the catio!!
Heh-heh, I can't wait to see all the house trashing that will greet your human when she returns!
Stran looks like he'd be happy to get his paws on that squirrel!!
OMC, we hope you have better luck with your baby birds learning to fly than we did with ours. Well, we'd have had that one but for the mom who ruined our breakfast!
Wait...Maybe we can come over? We could all figure out a way to get out to catio and then surely, surely at least one bird would fall in!
Minä tiesin!
How dare she prevent you from sampling those delicate little fevvers!
We think a house trashin is in order, too!
What a calamity! You need to advertise for a new Human. Shutting the cat flap...as IF.
Hey guys.. it's not that good an idea to get too close to hedgehogs, you know!
