Sometimes it is necessary to wait for a long time, and be very patient.
All this waiting is of course very tiring. Exhausting in fact. You can see the effect it has on Stran-veli.
He is waiting for the kissanminttu crop to grow. It does not survive over winter so has to struggle up from seed each year.
For some reason, it grows in the pots outside the catio. Maybe because we sit in the ones inside. Here Stran and Ruska are seriously discussing the progress of the crop, wondering if it will be ready by September. Waiting that long is going to be very stressful.

I hope it grows quickly for you!
Looks like Stran has a bit of a hang-over there. From the stress, of course! xoxo
That is one down side to being a Finnish, or transplanted to Finland kitty - you have to wait SO long for fresh nip. Mine will be ready for my birthday party next weekend!
SEPTEMBER!!!??? Äiti needs to purchase a grow box so you have fresh nip available year 'round.
OMC--waiting for something to grow??
Are you kidding? That is the most stressful thing, ever. The only other thing more stressful is waiting by a mouse hole. Then it's stress and suspense! :)
Hugs,
Tom
Our nip bushes have grown big but we have no interest in them. We prefer our nip dried.
Odottavan aika on pitkä!
