Friday Feasting

Loyal readers, you may know that one of my duties is to protect perheeni from the evil merikotka, the eagle which migrates over our house (apparently, says Äiti). I take this extremely seriously because merikotka is big enough to catch any of us. Well maybe not Mirsku. (But he's more likely to take a gull from the lake, Äiti) So when I found merikotka flying straight towards us, I was there in a shot.
I knew no fear, I leapt straight at him and prepared to pounce, bite, claw and hiss. No way was I going to let him get at us. Please notice how the rest of perheeni are strangely absent especially the girlcats - I was on my own defending my realm. This of course did not bother me as I am a brave warrior with the strength and courage of many.
And I was, of course, victorious. I noticed that suddenly these words started rolling across the sky and merikotka disappeared to replaced by a nice lady who said it was time for the news. So, we are safe - the sea eagle has flown and we can relax. I declare that tonight there will be feasting in celebration, and perheeni better say thank you to me for saving them all.

What a hero you are, Puna! I haven't seen anything that frightening in that strange box in the corner that contains many many people and animals. I like to come near it when I hear nature sounds from it with small birds chirping in the background. That makes my mouth water. Also, I enjoy listening when British English is being spoken in it, as the hotel complex where I used to live in the past, was mostly occupied by British tourists. So, that brings memories to my mind...

Good of You to take care of protection of Your perhe. We do not have those big and nasty birds here. Only owls and crows and magpies. But I do live on the Eaglehill so there has been some here, long time a go.
Have a nice weekend!
