Elämä goes on.....

We continue to be overwhelmed by the kindness shown on the blogosphere. We knew Rilli was loved as part of perheeni, but never knew how much. Äiti has had very many messages of love and support, as comments, as other blog posts and as emails. She has really been taken aback, and she knows there are some very special people out there. There are some very special cat people!  We thank you for the candles lit: as you will know light is very important to us as we have so much darkness in winter, and so much light in summer. And the winter light now is glorious - there are revontulet at night and halos in the day. We think Rilli is happy now.  And Äiti is spending time with us, and we are making sure she knows we are still here for her. In many ways!

We have temperatures that are changing a lot so Äiti did some snow clearing on the catio. This is good because when the snow melts and refreezes it gets very hard to move. It does mean we have a huge snow pile, which she really should shift to the garden outside, but we are not hassling her yet. Stran-veli has been out playing with snow balls.
He loves batting them across the deck.
And pawing them (despite the fact they are very chilly).
And afterwards he decides to take a run up to the shelf.
He doesn't quite realise there is 30cm of snow facing him.
He heaves himself up with mighty paws.
To be faced with a wall of white.
And he then thunders around to prove he's the boss still, despite being beaten by the snow.
He can give those burmese ninjas a run for their money if he wants!

Prancer Pie, you thoughtful, kind mancat - we are delighted to report that Poo Corner is still available. The snow is harder to scrape and there may be a golden glacier, but there is definitely provision!

We love the pictures of Stran playing in the snow. It is difficult to remember that he is an English cat as he acts like a brave and mighty Finnish cat who has lived with the snow all his life.

It is time to stop. Everything feel so empty. Emptiness and tears. Why all good guys have to die? Feels like this world is not for old ones and weak ones.

Thank YOU RILLI-UKKO! You gave us so much fine moments. Life is a unfair game. Fair guys get beaten up always. Hope that you have peacefull place to "live" now. You are really deserve it! You are always in our heart! Muikku for you - always!

And PPP... Elämä jatkuu. That's right. Forces to your family.
