Snow Relief Sunday

Loyal readers, we are all in a spin with the weather. Yesterday it was -1'C; two days ago it was -25'C. It's cold then very cold, then cold again. We cannot keep up. We cope by making sure we stay inside in cosy sauna conditions. But yesterday it was fine, so we shot out to inspect the catio. There was much more snow.
Stran-veli of course strode over to Poo Corner. He needed to check it out.
You can see how seriously he takes this checking. And he's not best pleased to be caught on camera.
But, he comes back in safely for a tickle and a few treats to make up for his chilly paws.
Then we left Äiti outside to get on with tidying up the kingdom and doing the snow work.

We don't know...we think the snow might freeze our butts shut!

You'd think that since humans have to do snow clean-up, they would do something to make that snow not come down in the first place! 'Cause you know, they ARE responsible for the weather. Otherwise, why would there be weathermen and women?

Brrrr, we don't know how you "go" in that cold. It gives us a case of the "puckers". MOL!

Maybe the snow is the kitty version of a bidet. :-D

It's crazy here too....minus 25C windchill yesterday and today too. Up and down like a yo-yo, can't wait for green grass and real warm temps.

It was -12C this morning, -19C with windchill, but it's supposed to start warming up tomorrow. This is the coldest it's been in #1's memory around here...

It is very cold here as well, but not as bad as -25 thank goodness. Mum laughed at Katnip Lounge's comment, but it has got us worried. We hope that doesn't happen to you.

Great and Mighty King Kitty Cat of Finland (North), we are three Swedish mancats who very much enjoys reading about your adventures. Sadly, our mum has discovered this wonderful blog too, and that has caused us a bit a problem.

Last night, she stayed awake until long after midnight, reading all your older posts, right from the start in 2008. For that reason, she was very relucant to get up this morning. We had to wait for our breakfast until six o'clock. That is, of course, unacceptable, since we usually try to wake her up around four and we were quite upset. Fortunately, she will soon have read them all, so we expect no more breakfast disasters. :)

We do love Äitis photos and look forward to your post every day (which we read at breakfast, while simultaneously we try to steal some ham from mum's sandwiches). Already, we are eagerly waiting for tomorrow's story and picture.
