Swiping, snatching Sunday

We have had a relaxed weekend with plenty of sleepy time, but have also been keeping lean and mean with some exercise. Äiti was allowing me to demonstrate my skills, hunting the leather waggly sticky thing.
She said she hasn't seen me attack like this for ages.
I was as enthusiastic as I was when I was pikku pentu.  Only then, of course I was not so experienced at the fine art of killing sticky things.
It was impossible for Äiti to pull the leather strands from my vice-like teeth.
And my paws had a grip of iron.
And I delighted her with a few open paw, tummy fluff exposed pounces.
And even showed my curly bits to her. And they are very tidy curly bits as I have been allowing her to untangle -gently - tummy fur knots. I am not saying I like the diabolical comb, but I am realising that maybe I have to make sacrifices in order to keep my furs perfect.
So Äiti is very happy as I am clearly feeling much better to be having these fights. I am eating my special food, and also I am trying hard to eat the wet stuff. Äiti has been giving us all more wet food, with added water which is really good for us all.  However we do go nuts for the dry food snack in the evening!

We couldn't see all your fierce photos how you attack the leather thingy. Mine has a fake feather and I'm not too crazy about it, but I please Mom when she plays with me.

We now have ideas on a leather and stick toy thingy that Mommy must make for us immediately. Because we need to be lean and mean as you, Puna! Not hams on toothpicks, like Mommy says.

Well, yes, from those photos it's hard to tell that you were ever feeling poorly! My mom told me what you said (through your Aiti) about our earthquake.... Since you were just a little bit concerned about us, I'll let you slide on this one. But I am here to assure you that I did NOT cause that earthquake, though I have no comment about the aftershocks...

The open-pawed position is a "real killer", Puna-Chan!
